With more than 70 years of heritage in consumer electronics and a reputation for exceptional quality and reliability, Grundig has long been a trusted brand across Europe. Today it develops appliance solutions that respond to the demands of contemporary living, and they wanted help in promoting their new range of appliances across The Times platforms.
We asked four influencers with very different lifestyles to come up with their 'The Ultimate Kitchen'. From food blogger Ed Smith who put functionality above all else with a traditional chefs triangle to fashion editor Deborah Brett who wanted a colourful multi-purpose room that could suit her work, family and social needs.
We commissioned CGI artist Jake Denham to create 3D renders of these imagined spaces including all of our influencers must-have items. Interior designer Abigail Ahern wanted a dramatic vibe and chose her own-branded Marie Chandelier as her statement piece. Sustainable architectural designer Oliver Heath wanted to bring his kitchen alive with plants and light and chose black forest decor twig cutlery to compliment his nature-based design.
We produced a series of articles that ran in print and online with accompanying videos to show our influencers dream kitchens coming to life.
