As a nation of tea and, increasingly, coffee drinkers, we attach much importance to the ceremony of making our hot drinks, and go to great lengths to source the fines leaves or best beans. Yet when it comes to the main ingredient – water – we give it little thought and simply go with the flow, even though it makes up 99 per cent of the tea and 98 percent of the coffee we drink.
Brita wanted us to help promote their new range of filters to The Times audience, so we commissioned illustrator Giulio Castagnaro to create this visual feast of a layout that ran inside The Sunday Times Magazine..
Water is everywhere in cooking – it’s what we use to boil or steam, it’s a base for broths and soups – so who wouldn’t want the purest source possible?
